Kava has been part of Pacific Island culture for over 3,000 years as a social and ceremonial beverage. At Eternal Roots, we source responsibly from Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga, serve recommended amounts, and train every kavatender to guide first-timers. We are happy to answer any question before you order. Your comfort comes first.

What happens when I walk in for the first time?

Walk in, find a seat, and one of our kavatenders will come to you. They will explain the menu, walk you through what kava is and how it works, and help you pick your first drink. No pressure to know anything before you arrive. First-timers are our favorite guests.

How is Eternal Roots different from Kava and Company?

Kava and Company does kava. Eternal Roots does everything else too. Full craft mocktail menu. Colombian family farm coffee. Weekly live events. A purpose-built lounge atmosphere, not a coffee shop that added kava. We are in a different category entirely.

What exactly is kava?

Kava is a root from the Pacific Islands, used for thousands of years in ceremonies and social gatherings across Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu. It is prepared by grinding the root and mixing it with water. It tastes earthy with a slight lip tingle, and it is unlike anything else you have tried. Ask us to walk you through it.
