Kenny and Vanessa had seen firsthand what Jacksonville was missing. Not another bar. Not another restaurant. A space where you could actually slow down, connect, and feel at home without a drink in hand that made you feel worse the next morning.
They discovered kava the way most people do: someone handed them a shell and said try this. What happened next changed everything. The warmth. The ease. The way the room felt alive without the chaos. They knew immediately that this was what Jacksonville needed.
On February 22, 2024, Eternal Roots opened its doors at 7035 Phillips Hwy. It was not just a lounge. It was a statement. An alcohol-free space rooted in community, intentional living, and the belief that the best nights out leave you feeling better, not worse.
Two years later, over 1,000 members call this place theirs. And it is still just getting started.

Kenny is the vision behind Eternal Roots. He shows up every day to make sure the vibe is exactly what it was always meant to be.

Vanessa brings the warmth that makes first-timers feel like regulars. She oversees the guest experience, the menu, and the community partnerships that make Eternal Roots more than a bar. She believes this space can change how Jacksonville socializes, and she is proving it every week.

Annabelle is who you want pouring your first shell. She knows the menu inside and out, she will read the room and get your drink right the first time, and she makes sure every guest feels seen. Regulars come back for her as much as for the kava.
